Benjamin, Isabel, Sofia, and Marcus Baldwin: Round 1 Bio

Benjamin writing in his diary ...

Isabel Baldwin has always said that her family is perfect, that the future's bright for her family. Her husband, Benjamin, is an expert in his field. Their daughter, lovely Sofia, is a hard-worker who shows an unusual interest in local politics, and their son, Marcus … he is, well, he's a sporty little man who loves to study the stars! He's going to follow Benjamin into Science - Isabel knows that it's going to happen! Just as she knows that things are next to perfect for her family. 

Though for every story, you see, there's a 'but'.

But is the Baldwin family perfect? Is Benjamin content with his family? (He frequently thinks about befriending Chastity Gere, and unlike Isabel, he isn't thinking of a third child, another bundle of joy.) Then there's Sofia. Sofia's trying so hard to be a good daughter, a good student, and to keep her parents happy, but she can't get along with her little brother. Can't see herself entering the Science field. Anything but that! Anything! 

And Marcus? He's there. Doing his own thing. Just like Isabel. Who's doing her own thing. 

So, the question for the Baldwins is this: How long will it take for cracks to appear in their household? Is the future bright for them? Only time will tell.

• low interest in Health and Culture - frequently grills hamburgers.

• buy Electronic Entertainment costing at least 1500 Simoleons,
• become friends with Judith Baker,
• have a baby,
• Sofia becomes an overachiever.

Sofia Baldwin

Observations:

• unlike Sofia, Marcus was only taught how to use the potty,
• loves the Paranormal and stargazing through his telescope,
• wants to do well at school,
• disagrees frequently with Sofia.

Unfulfilled wants:

• get an A+ at school.

Notable events for the first round:

• Sofia is turned off by Great Cooks - Isabel's OTH is cuisine.
• Isabel wants more children, Benjamin isn't on the same page as her.
• Aliens abducted Benjamin when Isabel was preparing for bed, for their Try For Baby woohoo.
• Carlos flirted with Benjamin's coworker at Benjamin's party. Isabel was fuming about his behaviour.
