Armand DeBateau and Tara DeBateau: Round 1 Bio

Armand and Carlos confrontation ...

Armand DeBateau wasn't quite the same after his divorce was finalised. He wallowed, he frequently declared that the sun wouldn't shine again, and he kept wondering where did it all wrong? Armand could only smile again once little Tara - an eager, redheaded bookworm - officially became his adoptive daughter. She needed his attention, his presence and his love, and for the next few years, she was all that he knew. All that he focused on.

He didn't notice women. Didn't even think of dating - how could he when his former wife, Jessica Peterson, seemed to be everywhere? (Just looking at her made him think of her betrayal.) But somewhere along the line, Armand and Jessica tried to get along because of a curious Tara who, for some reason, liked Jessica.

But old wounds eventually reopened, and one thing led to another: Armand and Jessica ended up in bed, not once, but twice. Luckily, Tara had no idea what the adults had been up to late at night, too busy thinking about books and attending university in the future ...

With this father-daughter duo, the biggest question is: How will Armand react when he finds out that Jessica is engaged to the man she had an affair with, and how will studious, presentable Tara cope away from Armand's rules and protectiveness once she leaves for university?
