Jason, Marissa and Justin Cleveland: Round 1 Bio

Jason Cleveland has always wanted a good, comfortable life. Enter Marissa Rutherford – wealthy and highly educated. They’re happy with each other. They have similar desires (to be surrounded by quality, to have an overflowing wallet). And they’ve been together for a long, long time now. They’ve produced a child, Justin, who’s now a teenager, and their relationship – which has never been that passionate or adventurous – has been comfortable and easy for as long as they can remember. They’re both serious and strict and expect a lot from each other and from Justin.

But things changed when Marissa realised that she wanted to have another child. Justin, bright and outgoing Justin, was close to graduating – Jason and Marissa knew that he would do as he was told and attend university! And Marissa, well, she did consider getting work, but no! She has never worked a day in her life and so she made plans. To conceive another child and to plot out said child’s first few years of life. Marissa has always needed to be in control (Jason lets her do whatever she wants because he understands her, trusts her and believes in her judgement), and she’ll make sure that everyone’s lives goes according to plan. 

But Justin didn’t obey his parents. Didn’t get an A+ report card, didn’t reach the top of his career, and didn’t go to university. Marissa and Jason responded by ordering Justin to leave their home and experience the real world (they lived a comfortable life, you see), and now the biggest question for the Cleveland family is this: Will Jason and Marissa’s strict, controlling natures chase away more children, and then fracture their family even more, or will their new children toe the line?
